I fully understand what it means to be in Chris’ shoes, in vetting emails’ context.
Really, Chris, I do. I never realized it can be this painful.

That said, I apologise for having wasted so much of your time restructuring and paraphraing your angels’ emails previously. (Chris’ Three Angels a la Charlie’s Angels. One down, two left. Ahem.)
It does take up SOME time, especially when one’s experiencing post-lunch mental block. No joke. I fully understand it now, trust me on that.
On the same note, Mandarin is my stronger language as opposed to English. That said, my English may be a mere passable B3 but my Mandarin is a solid A1. What’s yours? *lifts eye brow*
My. I am so not angry, nor pissed. I am Miss Diplomatic aka Miss Politically Correct aka Miss Airy Fairy aka Miss Spelling Guru aka Miss Soft (Spoken).
I received a comment from an anonymous sometime back for my previous entry. However, due to some private reasons, I have decided to lock up that particular post, so if you were the person who left an enquiry on “of work and play”, do drop me your email so I can give you the details you may need
(These were the pictures I had wanted to upload for the longest time. Phew.)
Sheng hit a spot in me with his response to my previous post. I agree with him, akin to the Sichuan quake victims, the Burma cyclone victims require the help too, despite the media painting an unglorious picture of their not-so-righteous officials. A lil’ more love wouldn’t hurt right?
Let the candles help not only the quake victims, but also the cyclone victims. Spread the love; a little goes a long way.
I’m struggling to finish this book by J.D Salinger.
It’s not an easy read for me; the narrator is such a negative and depressed person it’s affecting me. Quoting him, it killed me. I can’t derive any other conclusions from reading this book except that the subject in the book is so so negative, and that I don’t wanna be like him.
I still have MANY books in line for my reading; have just laid my hands on A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, as well as Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. At the same time, I am still holding on to Regina’s copy of The Time Traveller’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, and also Ting’s The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho & Chronicle of a Blood Merchant by Yu Hua.
On top of all that, I wanna get this:
The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Habits by Stephen R. Covey
I like reading, it’s when I can throw back whatever problems I have and immerse in the storyline and emotions of the characters. And I think I need motivational and self-improvement books even more so now!
Side note, I like to read Harry Potter. About time to start reading the series from volume one again!
(Am having difficulty uploading pictures of late, any idea why?)
Thumbs up! Madly in love with this particular rendition of “那些日子”, have watched this vid’ over a gazillion times since last year, and still loving it! ♥♥
Gladly sharing this with everyone, especially if you appreciate good songs with good vocals!
Yes, we did. I know that, we all know that. They were good, I agree. Yet, what I did not expect was a blatant spit in my face from a certain someone, ”Dun be sad huh.. <sch> deserved it.”
If you ask me, I think that was wrong. I wouldn’t have sent a similar message to a competitor (what’s more a friend) even if we had won. If you ask me, I am taking this defeat gracefully. They were impressive, I even text Weisheng and Clifford ‘Pier’ to congratulate them for the double victory.
BUT I am not taking that text message very lightly.
Am I dumb? Am I that blind to not know the reason for our defeat? I DO NOT need that text message to remind me of how well our competitor performed to kick us off the very honour we worked hard for.
It was an upsetting fall, not exactly unanticipated, but a bad fall nontheless… you get my drift. And despite all that, we marched up to the school for the final play, for the pride, for the school, for all they have worked hard for.
Guess there’s alot to say, but I do not know how to go about doing it. All in all, no matter the outcome, I hope the video says it all.
