An overdue update.
It’s been so long since I actually updated this ground.
The truth is, I am losing the knack in typing long stories, so I’ve turned to the solace of Twitter (and its sometimes annoying 140-word limit, heh!) which I and many others are very much addicted to it. Heh.
In a nutshell, my decade long friends are still loving me, my ex-colleagues who are now termed as Friends are loving me too, Xuan is unofficially the most naughty girl in the house, Princess Calista is UG’s new gem, OB is soon welcoming their new prince (Kayden! Whee!), work is consuming me but in a good way, I am still watching my shows and finally watching AI, and at that Moment when I pressed the “Confirm” button at my UOB IB page, I can only say LIFE’s GREAT!
I love quotes, and one of them is “Human capacity for burden is like bamboo – far more flexible than you’d ever believe at first glance” (My Sister’s Keeper, by Jodi Picoult) For friends who know the story, I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF! *super wide grin*
Life has never been this sweet for a while and I am now all set to read the book Mel gave us during Xmas ’09 “Life’s Greatest Lessons” (by Hal Urban)!
I have written almost two years ago that I like the notion of “Life is a party, a grand festival, because life is the moment we are living right now” (The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho), and clearly I have forgotten about it, especially so during that grey period.
And now, it’s time I do a mid-year introspection and instill more positive energy! I have internalized so much of my negativity that I have prolly been too much of an emowreck, but that’s all gonna change! I once tweeted, “Life, is really just about how you view and treat it. Nothing’s entirely bad about being thrown lemons!” So yea, I will only grow stronger!
We all love what Paulo Coelho wrote in The Alchemist, “When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to acheive it” Don’t you too?
P.S I think it’s a superb gift for Mother’s Day!
P.P.S I said I love quotes, I’m not lying right!
