A Journey of Love | Meng & Fang’s Love Montage

I was, and am still very overwhelmed by the whole wedding affair. Like Geo, I am still pretty much ‘in the mood’,  exactly the way we felt when we were prepping for Meng & Fang’s Big Day!

It has been tiring no less, but very much enjoyable. I agree it has brought the UG girls even closer the past few weeks! Not to forget our new-found friends, dearest Carmen, Xinyin & Farhana, as well as the nice peeps who made it for the Surprise Video! (It’s really funny; even though I teared quite badly!)

To my happy couple, thank you for allowing us to share the joy and be part of the entire prep process; glad to have been there and helped out in any possible way we could! Gown-train-pulling is my now an expertise I can add under my portfolio!

We love you! Here’s wishing a blissful life ahead! And as cliche as the saying goes, Meng & Fang, we truly wish you a ‘Happily Ever After’, from the bottom of our hearts

We truly love the montage too! Absolute thumbs up to Ting (and her 1GB VAIO) who did up the montage with the very romantic ‘Beautiful’ by Mandalay, a song we stumbled upon thru her itunes while waiting for friends to film the surprise vid. The voicever recording was a tremendous experience too, we have never quite heard our voices in such clarity and umpteen playbacks, hah.

And the super hilarious slumber party the girls had; immense fun and a truckload of silly pictures! Even though some of us had to drag ourselves up for the shoot after meagre rest. It was definitely worthwhile though.

All in all, the wedding was a blast, especially amongst us sisters (and possibly the brothers)! Running around, playing the important music, hosting the dinner, doubling as photographer and mic-holder, receptionists, sidekicks, all the while busy but still found time to cry when the couple was giving their speeches!

The haggling session was superb too! Waking up at 4am after a mere 2 hours’ rest, and travelling down to the bride’s “place” to prepare for the haggling session, aka The Big Sabo of the Boyfriends (and Xiongdis). Applying ‘Bombshell’ all over the arms/legs and regretting after realizing it was a warm day, camwhoring when the sun’s not even up yet, etc… Also worth mentioning is the brothers who were game enough, especially Alan the Banana Man. REACH ORGASM! Haha!!! Did I mention we striked 4D from the rented SLK? Lucky!

Many many wonderful moments captured on cameras too! Now, either Min or myself have to get ourselves married next since we have reached the limit of being ‘jie mei’ for 3 times! (But Geo got the bridal bouquet, urps.)

Ok now, good night world, I’m off to a night of wonderful dreams and revelry…….
